Lucien M. Roughton, Jr., Attorney at Law


Born and raised in Durham, N.C., Mr. Roughton has been practicing as a trial lawyer for ten years in both North Carolina and Illinois.

After law school, Mr. Roughton worked as a trial lawyer in Chicago for the law firm of Parrillo Weiss LLC. While there, Mr. Roughton set the record for trying more jury cases to verdict in 2007 than any other civil defense lawyer in the State of Illinois.  

Mr. Roughton also worked as Assistant District Attorney for both the Orange and Chatham County District Attorney’s Office as well as the Durham County District Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted charges including driving while impaired, assaults, and drug offenses.
